We are thrilled to be shortlisted for two awards at the MIDAS Foodservice Network Awards, which took place early March and celebrated outstanding achievement in menu development and the wider foodservice industry.
Our first nomination was in the Best Burger category, where our Brisket Birria Smash Burger was shortlisted alongside entries from Burger King and Mollie’s. We were incredibly pleased to win this award on the night, sending along Ben and Mollie from our Supply Chain team to enjoy the awards and collect the trophy.
The Brisket Birria Smash Burger brings together smashed beef patties, spicy brisket, chipotle mayo and jalapeños, served with a rich and spicy birria gravy on the side – perfect for dipping. Bold flavours, indulgent textures and a little bit of Lounge flair made this a standout entry.
We were also nominated for Best Seasonal/Event Menu for our Christmas Menu, shortlisted alongside Liverpool Football Club and Shepherd Neame. Liverpool Football Club took home the win, but we were happy to be nominated alongside two great menus.
Our Christmas Menu celebrated festive favourites with a distinctive Lounge twist, featuring dishes such as Turkey Tacos, the Clucker Burger, Korean King Prawn Cocktail and a Toffee Apple Choux. 🎄 From creative flavour combinations to playful seasonal reinventions, the menu captured the spirit of Christmas while staying true to our all-day, laid-back dining style.
