We fundraise for good causes all year round.
We do a big push for ‘LoungeAid’ every June and December when all our sites get creative with special fundraising events and sponsored challenges. We give this money to local charities to help them tackle the issues that are important to the communities where we trade.
Throughout the year, we run thousands of charity quiz nights and, when we open a new Lounge, we donate money from every burger and coffee sold in the first month.
We are also proud supporters of Macmillan’s annual Coffee Morning event in September.

Donating money to charity feels great, but sometimes we want to get more involved; this is where our Community Fund steps in.
Every Lounge has a budget of £1,000 each year, which is put towards staff time and materials to enable our teams to make good things happen. Exactly how we do this varies from site to site but includes hosting kids’ breakfast clubs, laying on coffee mornings for community groups, supporting soup kitchens, and organising litter picking events.
We have a team of Regional Community Managers who support each site to deepen its connection with its local area.

We aim to host 12,000 community events every year. In addition to our charity quiz nights, we host parent groups, music events, art lessons, and welcome a wide variety of local clubs and groups. This activity helps to bring local people together and build community spirit.
We also encourage our teams to do ‘random acts of kindness’ – a free cup of coffee for someone caught in the rain; a piece of cake to someone who’s having a bad day.
