Loungers plc – the leading operator of all day café/bar/restaurants across the UK under the Lounge, Cosy Club and Brightside brands are delighted to announce another Lounge opening. Ivo Lounge in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire, opened this week as the 204th Lounge in the Lounge estate. Loungers accelerated site roll-out remains on track with recent Lounges also opening in Alfredo Lounge in Louth, Bordo Lounge in Carlisle and Muro Lounge in Hexham. Loungers also welcomed Cosy Club Oxford to the family in October.
Like all Lounges Alfredo, Bordo, Muro and Ivo will be a home-from-home for our customers, with a real focus on having a positive impact on the community. Each new Lounge creates up to 30 new jobs per site and results, we estimate, in an investment of nearly £1m to the local high street.
Located in the Cheng Yu Tung building – formerly Northgate House – Oxford Cosy Club combines elements of the arts and crafts movement and Victoriana, with nods to the Swinging Sixties.
