Loungers plc, the leading operator of all day café-bar/restaurants across the UK under the Lounge, Cosy Club and Brightside brands, are delighted to have opened their 217th Lounge this week – Vitello Lounge in Ilkley opened on Wednesday 20th March. This site marks the 8th opening this calendar year for the Lounge brand with Pineto, Riparo, Panadero, Pontio, Verraco, Pionero and Centivo Lounges opening since January in Bracknell, Broadstairs (Westwood Cross), Chepstow, Bromsgrove, Rochdale and Ashby-de-la-Zouch, respectively.
The new opening coincides with a busy week for the Lounge brand, with a new Spring food and drink menu which launched across all Lounges on Thursday 21st March.
The group have also announced the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer – Stephen Marshall, who joins the group on 23rd April. After an incredible win at the MCA – Insights 2024 Hospitality Awards, being recognised as Best Pub / Bar Group, Loungers continues its expansion with 10 new Lounges planned before the end of June – the next of which is Sarto Lounge in Sidcup, opening on Wednesday 27th March.
