LoungeAid 2025 Raises Over £200k For Local Charities

Lounge Café Bars nationwide are celebrating the success of another fantastic LoungeAid month, having collectively raised an impressive £217,200 for local charities.

Community has always been at the heart of Loungers, with teams encouraged to do things their own way, whether that’s opening their doors for local events, carrying out random acts of kindness, or raising funds for charities close to their hearts. And this culminates each June with LoungeAid.

A much-loved fixture in the Loungers’ community calendar, our June fundraising initiative sees Lounges across the country come together in support of causes that matter to their neighbourhoods. This year’s creative fundraising efforts included climbing peaks equivalent to ascending Mount Everest over 10 times, cycling the same number of miles as the Tour de France, swimming over 8,000 metres, and skydiving from over 50,000 feet!

John English, Head of Community at Loungers, had this to say: “LoungeAid 2025 has been the best ever! We are absolutely thrilled to have raised such an amazing amount of money to support over 250 different charities and good causes in the communities that we are part of. Our Lounge teams and their customers raise money to support local charities throughout the year, which has a positive impact on the neighbourhoods where we trade”

We love supporting local causes, which is why Loungers added £20,000 of additional funding from the business to the best-performing fundraisers throughout the month.

Established in 2015, LoungeAid is Loungers’ largest charitable initiative, uniting teams across the country for a month-long fundraising drive to make a meaningful impact. To date, the campaign has raised over £655,552 for local causes.
