Last week, on Thursday 24th April, we sent a group of Loungers to the Casual Dining Awards 2025 in London.
We’ve always been so honoured to be nominated for these awards, and this year we were up for three awards, and we are so happy to announce we took home two of these.
First up was Employer Of The Year (50+ Sites), where Loungers beat amazing competition such as Nando’s, Wagamamas, Franco Manca and Turtle Bay.
Our second award was won by Lounges in particular, winning Pub/Bar Brand Of The Year (50+ Sites). Fellow nominees included Greene King, JD Wetherspoons and Fullers.
We were also up for Casual Dining Group Of The Year, where we lost out to the very well-deserving JKS Restaurants, with other nominees such as The Big Table and Mission Mars.
We pride ourselves on our Loungers community, making sure every employee feels at home here, so we are so honoured to be recognised by the Casual Dining Awards.
Regional Ops Manager, Jess Nicholls, had this to say about the evening: “Absolutely thrilled to have won Employer of the Year and Brand of the Year for 50+ sites at the Casual Dining Awards last night! As we progress through 2025, we continue to show amazing growth, with new sites arriving across the country, and we are so excited to see where we are this time next year.
