Loungers plc has been awarded the title of Best Major Business at the Peach 20/20 Hero and Icon Awards. Loungers Co-founder and Chairman Alex Reilley was also named Industry Ambassador at the awards presentation dinner, which took place at the iconic Roundhouse in London on Tuesday 18th October.
The Peach Hero and Icon Awards recognise and celebrate the best the hospitality industry has to offer – the leadership, creativity, inventiveness, agility and commitment to quality of both companies and individuals. Winners are selected either by votes of fellow industry leaders or the public.
Loungers took home the Best Major Business title for the fourth year running, with the title of Industry Ambassador awarded to Alex Reilley in recognition of his lobbying efforts on behalf of the hospitality sector as a whole.
Alex Reilley said: “I am delighted that Loungers have been recognised once again at the Peach 20/20 awards. These awards are voted for by our peers, so it’s a great reminder of the high esteem they have for Loungers, which is the result of our collective talent, determination and hard work across our teams.”
The awards come during a busy week for Loungers, which is also celebrating the opening of its 207th site, Francisco Lounge in Haywards Heath, on Wednesday 19th October.
