Loungers plc has been awarded the title of Restaurant Group of the Year at the R200 Awards. The Company was announced as the winner of the prestigious accolade at the event held at Ramona and the Firehouse in Manchester on Tuesday 15th November.
First launched in 2008 by Restaurant magazine, the R200 is a club made up of the UK’s leading restaurant group operators, defined by number of sites.
The R200 Awards celebrate the biggest and best achievements in the UK restaurant industry, providing the country’s greatest restaurateurs and establishments with awards to recognise their successes.
The award comes off the back of a record year for Loungers, which is targeting 30 new openings in this financial year, including the launch of a new roadside dining brand, Brightside, the first site of which will open next year.
