The Macmillan Coffee Mornings started way back in 1990 and have since become an infamous annual fundraising event for businesses, individuals and local community groups. In September 2023, Lounge’s throughout the UK helped to raise an impressive £11,000, but in true Lounge fashion, 2024 came with a plan to not only meet, but exceed the hefty £11k achievement.
Teams baked cakes and cookies, brewed up the finest tea and coffee, and planned fundraisers to try and hit their combined target of £19k.
And hit it they did.
From the north of England to the corners of Cornwall, an astonishing £24,077 has been raised by our incredible teams. A testament to the dedication within their communities.
